Northallerton Vocational Training Scheme is part of the Yorkshire Deanery. The local scheme administrators are:



Dr Peter Green

Dr Peter Green, Programme Director

Peter has been a Training Programmme Director for twelve years.  He is a GP at Great Ayton.  Peter is also an advanced consultation skills and CME tutor.




  Dr Webb

 Dr Chris Webb, Programme Director.

Chris a GP at Catterick. He is Training Programme Director and also a RCGP examiner for the CSA exam.

Mrs Wendy Buch, Programme Administrator

Wendy has worked within Postgraduate Services for more than seventeen years and during this time has supported many GP trainees throughout their training and to achieve their career goals.

Louise Campbell

Mrs Louise Campbell, Postgraduate Services Manager

Based at James Cook University Hospital, Louise holds a wealth of knowledge and information, advising trainees on all aspects of their hospital placements.


Miss Amy Allen, Administration Assistant

Amy is based between James Cook University Hospital and the Friarage Hospital supporting doctors with their training needs.



Dr Higson

Dr Roger Higson, Retired Programme Director

Recently retired from GP education, Roger Higson is a very experienced educator involved in selection for GP education and the assessment of doctors in difficulty.  Roger has special interests in using the creative arts as a resource in teaching.  He is co-author of the book "The Arts in Medical Education - A Practical Guide".
