Travelling to the Friarage Hospital

Getting to the Friarage Hospital is relatively simple.  The hospital is situated in the centre of Northallerton approximately one mile from the Railway station and a twenty minute walk, although there are always taxis available outside the station.  Travelling by car is easy too.  Please click on the links for directions from the A1 and A19.  There are public parking spaces available outside the Academic centre.

Northallerton Station is about 800 yards south of the High Street. The station is on the East Coast Mainline and has a few direct services to London and Edinburgh and there are also four daily direct services to London courtesy of open access operator Grand Central Railway. There are Transpennine Express services to Thirsk, Middlesbrough, Darlington, York and beyond with connections to the East Coast mainline and Cross Countryservices at York and Darlington.
